EP Foster Library Partnering with Turning Point Foundation

Becky Spring, Veterans Program Manager, David Jackson, Monitor, Kalie Matisek, LMFT and clinical director, Diana Zakhour, intern, Joe Dawson, Homeless 2 Home Team Lead, and Lead Monitor, Edwin Marinez.

Thank you to EP Foster’s Irma Morales, Sr. City Librarian for partnering with Turning Point’s Becky Spring, Veterans Transitional Housing Program Manager to share county resources to our Ventura County veterans.

Irma has been working on getting the Veterans Resource Center back up and running and applied for and received the California Center for the Book’s “Community Conversation with Veterans” grant.

They will be using the funds for the open house and luncheon program to help us all get acquainted with our local veterans.

Veterans Resource Center is available at E.P. Foster Library to assist veterans with locating services within our community, which include Turning Point Foundation.

The center provides access to local resources, as well as books, movies, and informative pamphlets.
